The All progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the House of Representatives, Eti-Osa Federal Constituency, Honourable Ibrahim Babajide Obanikoro, popularly known as IBO today paid a courtesy visit to the Iyaloja-General of Eti-Osa, Chief (Mrs) Ope.

The visit which was to acknowledge the importance of market men and women in the development of Eti-Osa, and the great effort the Iyaloja-General has put in place to ensure peaceful coexistence of Eti-Osa market people, had members of Eti-Osa market executive and IBO campaign team in attendance.

The Iyaloja-General who could not hide her joy on the visit, showered encomiums on the House of Representatives candidate and also wished him success in the forthcoming general elections.

She pledged her total support for the Honourable and urged him to pay attention to the yearnings of market men and women in Eti-Osa when he emerged as the people’s representative.

Also speaking on behalf of market men and women was the Baba Oja of Ajah market, Alhaji Razaq Odunlami, who expressed his dissatisfaction over the neglect of market men and women in Eti-Osa.

He said he had been to different market associations and had seen the preference the market executives of other local governments enjoyed, but the reverse has been the case in Eti-Osa.

He therefore implored Hon. Ibrahim Babajide Obanikoro to see to the issue and work with appropriate government agency to ensure Eti-Osa market people are treated well, especially on the need for a bus by the association.

In his response,Hon.Ibrahim Babajide Obanikoro appreciated the Iyaloja for her hospitality.

He further said he was aware of the needs of the market men and women , and that of his constituency at large. Consequently,he assured them of his promise of good governance and also said that he would deliver on his campaign promises.
