Governor Aminu Bello Masari has called for collaboration with security agencies to ensure the protection of lives and properties in the state.
Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari made this call when he received the newly posted Sector Commandant of the Federal Road Safety Commission, Ali Sule Tanimu who paid him a courtesy visit at government house, katsina.
The Governor requested for more vigilance as bandits and other criminal elements have devise means of concealing weapons on lorries, bases,cars and even motorcycles.
He therefore expressed the hope that men and officers of the commission would synergies with other security agencies to help in securing the state.
Alhaji Aminu Masari also requested them to particularly double effort in reducing Carnage on not only highways but the activities of motorcycle and Keke Napep riders in urban areas of the state.
He abhors a situation where motorcyclists overload them in the name of taking children to schools.
Earlier, the sector Commandant told Governor Masari that he was newly posted following the retirement of his predecessor.
He commended Governor Masari for the recent donation of a Hilux vehicle for Malumfashi unit Command of the commission.
Ali Sule Tanimu assured that the commission would work for the success of the effort to rid the of crime.
