Several people find it difficult to relate with when they see a man of God giving prophecies about sport events, many have been made to believe that God does not involve himself in ‘little things’ like sports but little do they know that God is interested in every part of man’s life, from the hair on his head to his toes.
One would not blame them, most prophets talk about politics and governance alone, leaving out other sectors of the society and this is probably why they find it strange when a prophet delves into other sectors including sports because it is very rare. The little percentage of them that believe in sport prophecy calls it ‘prediction’ because they think no one can ever be accurate when it comes to sports, especially football.
However, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele has continued to prove these set of people wrong with his prophecies on every sector of the society including sports, education, governance, politics, security, economy, communication, to mention a few.
Though he has been heavily criticized for the involvement of his prophecies in these sectors especially in sports, many say what he does is permutation and prediction but one thing that should be known is prediction is a result of what is expected. Before a prediction occurs, there must have been signs of an event but what do we say about things that were never expected, have never been discussed, and never showed any sign? Definitely they can’t be regarded as predictions, they are prophecies given directly by God to his prophets.
Several strange prophecies of Primate Ayodele on football matters have come to pass, He has accurately revealed the goals that will be scored in a football match, the fate of some clubs at the end of a season even before the season begins, the winner of a tournament before the first match is played at all, to mention a few. Just recently, the ‘strangest’ of it all is his prophecy on the change of Chelsea FC name to London Cowboys.
Nobody ever envisaged that this would happen one day because it rarely happens that a club would change its name coupled with the fact that Chelsea has been using the name for decades so there was actually no need to change a name but Primate Ayodele in his annual prophecy book titled Warnings To The Nations (2022/2023 edition) that Chelsea will miss many chances and lose players and that they must be careful of a name change.
These were his words
‘’CHELSEA: The club will miss chances and will lose some players and must be careful so that their name will not be changed. They will have a new board and if they want to win a cup, they need to re-strategize.’’ (Pg 351).
This prophecy book was compiled in March 2022 and it’s so obvious that all the man of God said about the club is coming to pass. The club has missed so many chances this season and now, the news making rounds is that plans to change the club’s name have been perfected.
It is on record that Primate Ayodele is the only prophet whose prophecies cut across every aspect of man’s life, a proof that God is interested in every aspect of creation.

Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) has condemned the treatment meted out to the Super Eagles team by Libya authorities ahead of its second leg match slated for Tuesday in the country.
She noted that travelling by road in Libya is most dangerous and totally not advisable because of the current situation in the country.
The team which left Nigeria on Sunday to Libya for its return match had their flight diverted to an innocuous airport far away from the venue of the match.
The implication of the diversion will now be another three hours of road travel to the main venue of the match, not minding the risk of road travel in Libya , considering the situation of the war-torn country.
Dabiri-Erewa said the safety of Nigerian players is paramount to the country, and was optimistic that the Ministry of Sports and the NFF will advice appropriately.
She also called on CAF to treat the matter with the seriousness it deserves.
Already, the players, the pilots and others on board the flight had been stranded and subjected to inhuman treatment at the airport for over 13 hours without water, food, rest and other means of communication.
“The team were delayed at an airport in Libya for more than 13 hours without any tangible reason” The Super Eagles flight was redirected air borne on Sunday and they were required to travel by road to their destination.
However, there was no provision made for them by the Libya authorities and all efforts to make alternative provisions by Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) was frustrated.
Dabiri-Erewa appealed to the Super Eagles to remain calm why the Nigerian Football Federation will decide the next line of action.
