NSCDC LAGOS : KESHINRO DECORATES 200 PROMOTEES, CHARGES PERSONNEL ON PROFESSIONALISM, INTEGRITY

The Honourable Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji – Ojo, the Civil Defence, Corrections, and Immigration Services Board ( CDCFIB ) has been appreciated for ensuring the swift and unprecedented promotion of officers in the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps and other agencies under the ministry .

The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Lagos State Command, Mr Adedotun Keshinro also appreciated the Commandant General, Prof., Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR for ensuring an end to backlog of promotions in the Corps . He charged promoted officers to continue to fly the flag of the Corps very high at every place they find themselves to serve.
The Lagos State Commandant today, Thursday, 22nd January, 2026, officially decorated the new promotees for the 2025 promotion year in a colourful ceremony, at the State Command Headquarters, in Alausa, Ikeja.
The Lagos State Commandant seized the opportunity to address the promotees during the decoration ceremony. He charged them to be more professional and uphold unwavering integrity and discipline in the discharge of their duties or any given tasks.
The breakdown of the promotion for senior officers of the 2025 promotion in the state is as follows; six ( 6 ) Assistant Commandants of Corps ( ACC ) were elevated to the rank of Deputy Commandants of Corps ( DCC ), twenty two (22 ) Chief Superintendents of Corps ( CSC ) to the rank of Assistant Commandants of Corps ( ACC ), fourteen ( 14 ) Superintendents of Corps ( SC ) to the rank of Chief Superintendents of Corps ( CSC ), twenty six ( 26 ) Deputy Superintendents of Corps ( DSC ) to the rank of Superintendents of Corps ( SC ), thirty four ( 34 ) Assistant Superintendents of Corps I ( ASCI ) to the rank of Deputy Superintendents of Corps ( DSC ), fifty eight ( 58 ) Assistant Superintendents of Corps II ( ASCII ) to the rank of Assistant Superintendents of Corps I ( ASC I ) , ten ( 10 ) Inspectors and sixteen ( 16 ) Chief Corps Assistants to the rank of Assistant Superintendents of Corps II ( ASC II ).
The total number of the senior officers promoted, in the Lagos state command amount up to two hundred ( 200 ) .
Others include eleven Chief Corps Assistant ( CCA ) and three ( 3 ) Assistant Inspector of Corps who got elevated to the rank of Inspector ( INSP ). other Junior Cadre Officers also moved to their new ranks accordingly .
