‘Obasa worked for Tinubu’s victory’ Says Omisore

Former Lawmaker at the Lagos state House of Assembly, Hon. Ipoola Omisore has praised the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, for working to ensure President Bola Tinubu emerge victorious at the 2023 Poll.

Omisore was a two-term lawmaker representing Ifako-Ijaiye II constituency and chaired the committee on Information and Security during the 7th assembly.

He said Obasa was among stakeholders who used their resources, influence and time to give Tinubu victory.

Omisore, during this weekend, said Obasa was re-elected for the third term owing to his loyalty and contributions to the state’s development.

He said: “Obasa is a politician I respect. He has done well for development of the state and his constituency. He has also done well to reward President Bola Tinubu. I remember how he initiated Bola Ahmed Tinubu Foundation (BAT Foundation), he sought advice from everystakeholder, including me, on how to go about it. And we were the first to fly the kite of Tinubu’s presidential ambition. BAT Foundation was funded by Obasa before it merged with other groups.

“Before other groups were instituted, BAT Foundation had done much public relations, and these efforts wet the ground for others.

“So, whoever is crediting people for Tinubu’s victory should not forget Obasa. His loyalty to Tinubu is 100 per cent…’’

There are lessons to be learned in politics.

A fool cannot mentor a wise man. Only a wise man can mentor a subordinate because they see further than them. “Obasa was precise about Tinubu’s ambition; he said Tinubu’s presidential dream remains his target. So I’m not surprised he is progressing. If you ask him the secret, he may not know, but most of us who see him as an ally know.

Also, his wisdom has helped him maintain a top post in politics, and I pray he keeps the good work going.” Omisore Stated.
