SO-SAFE CORPS ARRESTS TWO SUSPECTED KIDNAPPERS, RESCUES VICTIM IN OGUN

Sequel to a distress call received by the So-Safe Corps Patrol Team, on the 20th of January, 2023 that one Cattle Rearer, identified as Oseni was being kidnapped at Olorunda-Lukosi, Iro, Owode-Egba Local Government Area on the 19th January, 2023 between 2200hrs, whilst rearing Cows.

To this end the state Commander of So-Safe Corps under the leadership of Commander (Dr) Soji Ganzallo in a statement issued through the office of the Director of information and Public Relations of the Corps, Assistant Commander Moruf Yusuf said that the said Kidnappers immediately dispocessed their victim of his sum of N130,000 with the documents of his Motorcycle.

Ganzallo noted that along the line, the suspected Kidnappers demanded for N4,000,000 ransom, before they could release their victim known as Oseni.

Ganzallo revealed that the victim’s family agreed to pay the said ransom, without the knowledge of the suspected Kidnappers that they will fail.

However, the So-Safe Corps Patrol Team timely response led to the arrest of two suspected Kidnappers, whilst others at large, despite the intensive combing of the location.

Ganzallo further said that the arrested kidnappers are Mohammed Lawale, aged 20 years, of Sharagi Area of Karaoke.

The other suspected Kidnapper identified as Sarafa Asimiu, aged 25 Years, of Oke-Aje, Ibadan, resident of Amusa Yusuf house.

Ganzallo thereafter concluded that after preliminary interrogation of the suspected Kidnappers, the suspects and the rescued victim unhurt had been handed over to the Nigeria Police, Iro Post .

ONE-WAY DRIVE : COMMERCIAL BUS DRIVER KILL PRIVATE CAR OWNER AT MEIRAN, LAGOS

An unidentified private car owner was killed this morning by a commercial bus driver while driving against traffic (One-way) around Meiran area of Lagos.

A Volkswagen commercial bus driver with registration no EPE 964XX while driving one-way with high speed collided with a private car (Honda Civic EPE 666 BC).

The accident according to Lastma (Bravo) Ajanlekoko Anthony occurred around 9:30am had the driver of the Honda Civic car sustained serious neck injury and died instantly in a pool of blood.

It was confirmed that the dead driver was living inside Meiran Estate which is very close to the scene of the accident

Lastma Officials who were first emergency responders handed over the corpse to his relatives who came out from the estate.

Both vehicles were immediately removed from the road to pave way for free vehicular movement to other road users.

While the driver of the Volkswagen commercial bus that took one-way ran away, vehicles were handed over to Police men from Meiran Police Station.

The General Manager Mr Bolaji Oreagba however warned motorists (private/commercial) to desist from disobeying traffic laws particularly driving against traffic (one-way).

According to the General Manager “driving against traffic (One-way) is awaiting dead trap on roads”

So-Safe Corps Apprehend Robbery Suspect, Recovers Stolen Items in Ogun

The Ogun State owned Security Outfit, Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps known as So-Safe Corps Ijebu Ode Division Officers on routine patrol with the directive of the the Ijebu Zonal Commander, ACC Marcus Ayankoya at about 0530hrs on Tuesday, 7th. March, 2023 apprehended a notorious robbery suspect.

This is contained in the press release issued from the Office of the State Commander of So-Safe Corps, Commander (Dr) Soji Ganzallo through the office of the Director of Information and Public Relations of the Corps, Assistant Commander Moruf Yusuf said that the suspect, Mr Adegboyega Sulaimon Adesanya was apprehended having stolen two Okayama and Elepaq generating set right inside a house at Adelaja Street, off Ondo Road in Ijebu Ode Local Government Area.

Ganzallo confirmed that in the course of interrogating the suspect, he confessed to the crime and pledged to reveal his ugly criminal operation techniques.

Ganzallo noted that the suspect some weeks back had been accused of breaking into a poultry at Idomowo, Ijebu Ode and escaped arrest with a large number of fowls.

Ganzallo noted that the suspect together with the exhibit had been transfered to the Nigeria Police Force, Obalende Divisional Police Headquarter for further investigation and like prosecution.

So-Safe Corps Apprehends Six Notorious Cult Members Terrorizing Abeokuta, Recovers Ammunitions

The Ogun State owned Security Outfit known as Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps – So-Safe Corps has arrested six culprits terrorising Rounder axis of Abeokuta and its environs.

In a press release issued from the Office of the State Commander of the Corps, Commamder(Dr) Soji Ganzallo through the Office of the Director of Information and Public Relations of the Corps, Assistant Commander Moruf Yusuf, it was said that the officers of the Corps on guard duty, who are attached to Obasanjo Hilltop, Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta had arrested a middle-aged cultist, Mr Emmanuel Victor, 32 years of age, a resident of Feyintolorun Community, Rounder, Abeokuta North Local Government Area during stop-and-search technique at the access gate and four live ammunitions were found on him.

Ganzallo noted that in the course of the Corps Preliminary investigation, the culprit confessed that the ammunitions were found on him on his way from one of the buildings where he worked as a day cleaner.

He further revealed that he works as gardener at Crescent University, Abeokuta and mentioned five other accomplices who are deadly cultists terrorizing Rounder axis.

Some of the names mentioned were arrested.

Ganzallo further said that the culprit disclose that he belongs to Aye Confraternity Cult group and one of his superior Mr Olumide Abdullah nicknamed ‘Maintain’,a resident of 5, Adehun, Iyana Cele, Rounder, who had been arrested too, asked him to get the ammunitions while he said his group, which could have secured a rifle if not for the cashless policy which resulted in spending the N20,000 generated has its base at Adogbon Shop, Rounder in Abeokuta.

Ganzallo also noted that the Corps had put in effort to arrest few more members of the deadly cult group while others are at large.

The merbers arrested are Mr Isiaka Jimoh, 33years old, a resident of Feyintolorun Community, Rounder; Oluwaseun Gabriel, 20 years old nicknamed Atunbi, a resident of 22, Opara 1,Iyana Cele, Rounder; Ojeka Samuel, 19 years old and Adisa Rasheed, 19 years old who both reside at Opara 1, Iyana Cele, Rounder in Abeokuta.

Ganzallo noted that the culprits and the exhibit recovered from them-3 Axes, 5 Cutlasses, 4 Scissors, 1 knife, 1 Islamic Rosary, 1 Spinner-had been transfered to the Nigeria Police Anti-Cultism Unit, Oke-Ijemo, Abeokuta for onward transfer to the State Headquarters for further investigation and likely prosecution.
