A human rights organization, the Centre for Human Rights and Social Justice(CHRSJ) has exposed how a Lagos State Police Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Mr. Aminu(CSP) with Phone number:- *+234 8060301425*, his Divisional Crime Officer (DCO), Inspector Crime and one officer,IPO *Tanimowo Olaniyi Hammed* with phone number:- *+234 8088155330 & +234 7054250096*,of Alabo Divisional Police Station, Dopemu area of the State, turned the Station to *Debt Collection Centre/Office*.

The rights group also called for disciplinary action against the Four(4) of the officers by transferring them to either *Borno, Yobe, Benue, Plateau, Niger or Adamawa State*, where they would be engaged with the work of policing Nigeria people living in those areas affecting by security challenges and to let them further engage on Investigative team to *Fix-Out* the attacker of *Nigeria Defence Academy (NDA)* recently in Kaduna State.

It had concluded arrangement to write a Petition Letter to the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Police Service Commission (PSC) and National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) to report the illegality of the Four(4) Police officers attached to Alabo Divisional Police Station for failing to act on the core mandate of the Police Officer and dabbling into frivolous business transaction matter like Mr. World Corrupt Super Co-op *Abbah Kyari* in debt collection from *Hussuipuppi saga*.

The alleged Police officers arrested one Mr. *Omotunde Amos Adeleye:-(+234 8033551620)* living in Ogun State where the business trasanction took place but officers of Alabo Divisional Police Station in Dopemu area of Lagos State were employed to *arrest* him for delaying by Embassies to release the travel documents of six people as a result of *global pandemic code named “COVID-19″*, adding that at the wake of breaking out of global pandemic COVID-19, all the embassies across the globe closed down their offices which seriously affecting the traveling document business in Nigeria.

Meanwhile, the DPO Aminu with his DCO including the Inspector Crime collected sum of *Fifty Thousand Naira (#50,000)* through their corrupt officer Olaniyi Hammed as bail fund before Mr. Omotunde:-(+234 33551620) would be released in their custody to his surety, *Mr. Michael Ajayi:-(+234 8036639735)* who Inspector Crime and IPO collected his *NIN and ATM cards* up till now and trying to request for his *Bank-code* which Michael turned down, adding that the aforementioned Police officers insubordinate into the issue they were less concerned about, all in the name of *bribe money* they would get illegally from it.

Detailing the issue as explaining to the Police by one Tolulope Ibrahim (+234 8032110598),a purported Complainant of the matter at Alabo Divisional Police Station, that they have been doing *VISA Business* together for a very long time but due to outbreak of *global pandemic, COVID-19*, the process of Visa were seriously affected and led to delay in delivery of some of the documents but he was not satisfied and that is why he reported to the Alabo Police Station in Dopemu which lacked jurisdiction to attend to such matter, not to talk of being a *Debt Collector*.

But Tolulope Ibrahim conspired with Station lawless DPO Aminu, DCO, Inspector Crime and the corrupt IPO to deal with Omotunde, the travel agent which made him to forcefully cough out *(#200,000)* out of *(#1.25million)* fees allegedly remain for the process of *VISA* which was part of money he has paid for the processing of the travel documents at Embassies.

Meanwhile, one Engineer Micheal with phone number: – *+234 8060752571,* who claimed to have given sum of N4.7millioln to Tolulope Ibrahim for 15 travel documents which Mr. Amos Omotunde had been delivered Nine(9) out of Fifteen (15) and they were expecting the remaining six(6) documents, condemning the action of Tolulope Ibrahim by trying to use Police to disorganize the agreement being reached with Mr. Omotunde Amos Adeleye who has been working assidiously to ensure the delivery of the six (6) remaining documents, because Tolulope Ibrahim did not want to pay One Hundred Thousand Naira (#100,000) owed Mr. Omotunde Amos Adeleye for Brazilian Visa of *Mr.Ajao Afeez Ajibola* and he wanted to use this matter to sweep the sum of *(#100,000)*, under the carpet.

Engineer Micheal insisted that he did not want any intervention from the Police on the issue because they have settled the matter directly with Mr. Amos Adeleye Omotunde and Tolulope Ibrahim Should go and collect #200,000 pay to the Alabo Police Station by Mr. Amos Adeleye Omotunde and return it back to Omotunde Amos Adeleye, adding that he would join issue with Tolulope Ibrahim if he did not allow Mr. Amos to collect their remaining six(6) documents for him from the affected Embassies.

But to CHRSJ surprise, Tolulope Ibrahim on Tuesday reported the Alabo Police Station IPO to Gender Unit of the State Police Command, Ikeja under the nose of CP Hakeem Odumosun, in order to advance the cause of their illegality on the matter.

Speaking on the issue, the Executive Chairman, Centre for Human Rights and Social Justice (CHRSJ),Comrade Adeniyi Alimi Sulaiman, said that Alabo Divisional Police officers have transgressed beyond their mecuantancy from Lagos State to Ogun State without any *warrant* of *arrest* and not to talk of *Court order* of arrest, describing their action as illegal, undemocratic, unconstitutional, unlawful and abuse of office on Mr. Amos Adeleye Omotunde.

Comrade Sulaiman, insisted that Police was not concerned about the business transerction between the duo but just turning themselves to debt collector which against thier core mandate of policing the country because of the kicked back they wanted to collect.

CHRSJ strongly condemned the idioscycratic tendency of nonsensical constabulary mentality of these afforementioned lawless Police officers and their station’s criminality discripancies of pornchaturious competitious narchonic narcunal of contradictory all Nigeria relevant Laws, Codes, Acts including the DEED Business-Transerction writing aggrement within their(Police) purported Complainant(Tolulope Ibrahim) and their victim (Mr. Omotunde Adeleye Amos), which was Prepared by the same Tolulope Ibrahim’s Lawyer, Barrister Olukunle Joshua Dada on *5th Day of April, 2021*.

Recalling that the same Alabo Divisional Police Station,Dopemu displayed their lawlessness on *Friday 4th day of July, 2008*,in a matter involving *Mallam Musibaudeen Hamzat* who was illegally arrested at about 8:20pm on the fateful day by lawless Police officers led by one *inspector Cornelius Ugu* in collaboration with one *Supol Pullent Imacean(ASP then)* which Mallam Hamzat was unlawfully detained till 11:07pm on false accusation of working at night.

Another incident of illegal arrest of the same Alabo Divisional Police Station, was occurred on *21st Day of July,2008* where he was also arrested along with many passers-by, including motorcyclists on trumped-up charge, which they were later released after extorting money from them as bail funds and many people further alleged that they have suffered the same fate in the hands of these Policemen of the same Station at the same Dopemu junction on *Thursday 14th Day of August, 2008 at exactly 7:18pm.*

The victims of illegal arrest and unlawful detention, further learnt that the seized *Okada* of those who could not afford to pay the cut throat bribe were being used by the Policemen in *Mufti* for commercial purpose at late in the night, when the owners would have gone home out of frustration until the Petition of *CHRSJ* sisters Organization, the *Conscience Mainstream* dated *10th day of October, 2008*.

Also, disclosed that the dastard act of Alabo/Dopemu Police Station officers in flagrant violation of fundamental human rights of the Lagossians is skyrocketed to everywhere, even,at *Number-One Bus Stop, Dopemu Fly-Over bridge, Ayinla Bus-Stop, Oniwaya Junction, Bakery Bus stop, Alhaja Sifahu area, Samuel-Ajayi, Adeniji, Osogbo Streets* and too numerous to mention.

The rights group ( CHRSJ) therefore, called the attention of the Police authorities, including State Commissioner of Police, Mr Hakeem Odumosun, to caution and curb the excesses of the officers attached to Alabo/Dopemu Police Station in the State and these aforementioned Police officers should be *dealt with* in accordance with the relevant provisions of the law, in order to serve as a deterrent to other lawless Police officers in the Force, which they might have the same anartomical contour of diabolical plan against the *Rule* of *Law* and *Fundamental Rights* of the citizens.
