LAGOS ASSEMBLY RECEIVED 18 ADDITIONAL LIST OF COMMISSIONER NOMINEES

The Lagos State House of Assembly on Monday, received an additional official list of Commissioner Nominees and Special Advisers from Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of the State.

The letter which was read by the Clerk of the House, Barr. Olalekan Onafeko on the floor of the House stated that the list comprises a balanced selection of old nominees and additional names which represent a broad political structure thereby reflecting the diversity of our beloved State.
In the letter, the Governor thanked the Speaker and Members of the House for their diligence and commitment in relation to the recent screening and confirmation of 22 nominees. Also, Mr. Governor is confident that each of these nominees possess necessary qualifications, experience and dedication needed to serve the people of Lagos State effectively and efficiently.
“I am of the opinion that their potential will bring fresh insight and innovative ideas to the table while contributing to the overall growth and development of our dear State.” The letter reads.
The Additional list includes, Dr. Afolabi Abiodun Tajudeen; Mr. Oluwaseun Oriyomi Osiyemi; Prof. Akinola Emmanuel Abayomi; Engr. Olalere Odusote; Dr. Oluwarotimi Omotola Wahab Fashola; Mrs. Folashade Kaosarat Ambrose-Medem; Mr. Akinyemi Bankole Ajigbotafe; Mr. Samuel Egube; Hon. Tolani Sule Akibu; Mrs. Bolaji Cecilia Dada; Mrs. Barakat Akande Bakare; Mr. Olugbenga Omotoso; Mr. Mosopefolu George; Dr. Yekini Nurudeen Agbaje; Dr. Olumide Oluyinka; Mr. Abayomi Samson Oluyomi; Dr. Iyabode Oyeyemi Ayoola and Hon. Sola Shakirudeen Giwa.
The Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa urged the Chairman of the screening Commitee, Hon. Fatai Mojeed to ensure a thorough screening process while carrying out its exercise.
The Ad-hoc committee is expected to report its findings to the House on Thursday.
