Gareth Bale has hinted that he might be considering his future at Real Madrid despite helping his side to a Champions League trophy.

The Welsh star scored twice to ensure Real lift their third consecutive and  thirteenth Champions League trophy, after being left out of the starting eleven for the final.

After the match, Bale hinted at a possible summer move during an interview with  BT Sport, he said:

‘I need to be playing week-in week-out and that hasn’t happened this season for one reason or another. I have to sit down in the summer and discuss my future with my agent and take it from there.

‘Obviously I was very disappointed not to start the game, so the best I could do was come on and make an impact – and that’s what I did. It has to be the best goal I’ve ever scored.

‘I’m just happy to get the win. We know what we’ve achieved and how good we’ve been.

‘We let everyone else speak, we know how hungry and determined we are and we showed it again today.’

Gareth Bale scored a world class bicycle-kick, shortly after being introduced into the fray by Zinedine Zidane who will hope to keep the Welsh star beyond the summer transfer window.
