Jubilation in Lagos Assembly as Hon. Olowo Distributes  Cash Gift To All Staff

Hon. Rotimi Olowo who represents Shomolu constituency I at the Lagos State House of Assembly on Friday personally disbursed the sum of N5,000 to each staff members and non- staff who queued up in his office.

The lawmaker who is known for his magnanimity put smile on the faces of all who cared and humbled enough to queue to collect theirs. 

One of the staff members who spoke with us under anonymity commended the lawmaker for his good heart, “it is not about the amount, but about heart of giving, so we cannot but thank him for this good gesture. 

I will not deceive you, this N5,000 will go a long way in meeting my needs for this festivity. I have been thinking of how to buy some items, this will fill up some areas of need”, she said.

Another beneficiary, the publisher of August24News, Mr Ajagbe Adeyemi Teslim also commended the lawmaker.

Hon. Olowo is one of the forty lawmakers that I admire for his magnanimity,  I was watching him during the last Christmas party at the pavilion as he was spraying everyone on the stage.

Of you know him well, that is Hon. Olowo for you o, he springs up surprises many times, today he migjt just decide to do give away to all the security, tomorrow it may be the cleaners and next tomorrow all secretaries and personal assistants to lawmakers. 

He is such a nice man but could be unpredictable sometimes, if you don’t watch his mood very well before reaching out to him, you may be disappointed”, Teslim said.
