Sen. Remi Tinubu Present Loan to 100 Graduants in Lagos Central

Outgoing senator representing Lagos Central Senatorial district in Lagos State under the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Senator Oluremi Tinubu (OON) today Monday June, 12, 2023 presented cash worth One hundred Thousand Naira only 100.00 to over 100 participates August24news.com has learnt.

The token was in lieu of the 3 days training accuired during the Skills Acquisition and Empowerment Training in various skills.

The colourful and well attended presentation took place today at the prestigious Lagos City Centre, situated on Tapa street off Saviour Street, Sura, Lagos Island, Lagos.

The event which was chaired by the Executive Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) Hon. Wahab Alawiye- king represented the senator to present the certificate or attendant and cash to the participants.

Speaking with news men Hon. Wahab Alawiye-King highlighted how the event was collaborated with the June 12 celebration which is part of the ongoing democracy Nigerian are enjoying.

It will be recalled that the intensive Training includes cosmetology, Hairdressing, Carpentry, Photography and Small chops started in May this year with over 100 participate across the five (5) local Government and eight (8) LCDA in the state.

Guest at the event where Lagos Island East LCDA Chairman, Hon. Muib Alade Folawiyo, Lagos Mainland Local Government Hon. Rasheedat Omolola Essien, Former Lagos Island East LCDA Chairman Comrade Kamal Bashua and Lagos Island Apc Chairman Alhaji A.G.O Sodiq, Apc State Organizing Secretary Hon. Bayo Sanwo-Olu respectively.

One of the loan beneficiary Master Adeola Olaniyi who spoke in anxiety with our correspondent said the training had change his life style adding that the fund would assist him in getting some of his photography instrument that will be use to carry out what he has learnt during the training.

Olaniyi now thank the senator and the tutors at the training for a good job well done calling on the senator not to relent in the good work even as she is resuming into the first of the first lady of the federal republic of Nigeria
