TV Set Falls On Sleeping Child, Smarches His Head
A nine-year-old boy, Kwame Asamoah, died on Sunday morning after his family’s 34-inch analogue television fell on him, while he was sleeping and crushed him to death.
Asamoah was said to be sleeping in the same room with his parents and younger siblings at their house located at Nsuaem in the Bosome Freho District of the Ashanti Region in Ghana, when the incident happened.
Describing how the incident happened, Asamoah’s father, Kofi Kennedy, said the boy who was sleeping on the floor had hit the table bearing the TV, while, he was changing his sleeping position.
The TV, according to the father, slipped from the table and fell on him, crushing him to death.
